Born:  26 December 1839 in Germany

Married:  Cuthbert Wayne C. Lanier 1864

Died:  23 July 1877

Final Resting Place:  Old Evergreen Cemetery, Ft. Meade, Polk Co., FL

 

Enlisted 11/2/1861 at Manatee and was appointed 1st Sgt 6/10/62. He was wounded in the hip 9/20/63 at Chickamauga and hospitalized.

 

He did not survive to receive a Confederate Veteran pension.
