Enlisted 6/6/1861 for 12 mos. in Tampa was discharged 6/15/1862 by  James McKay.


Appears on 1860 Hillsborough County Census in the Tampa household of John Flinn, an ordinance Sgt. born in Ireland.  No further information is know abt.  Private Cook, however, there is a Charles Cook reported to have been a seaman on the CSS Chattahoochee, who later served on the CSS Savannah.
