About the tour:

The complete tour takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes and includes 10 sites including the "Father Ryan Window" the "Robert E. Lee Historical Marker" and the "John T. Lesley home site".

The tour can be shortened or lengthened depending on your time available, interest and fitness level.
 

Background:

At the request of the Tampa Downtown Partnership, the Tampa Bay Sesquicentennial Commission developed a walking tour of historic sites relating to the War Between the States in Downtown Tampa as part of their Friday 'Do The Local Motion Program'

The guided tour, including costumed guides was quite popular, and subsequently the Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners approved the Commission for a grant to promote this popular historical tour.

A driving tour is under development.
