Age at enlistment: 18

Born: 17 September, 1843 in Duval County, Florida

Died: 27 April,1925 in Manatee County, Florida

Final Resting Place: Pine Level Campground Cemetery in DeSoto County, Florida. Received Masonic Ritual

Married: 25 January, 1866 in Polk County, Florida a Miss Julia Ann Durrance.  Married Charity Ann Stephens in 1872.

 

Enlisted 9/1/1861 at Tampa, FL.  He was detailed 10/26/1863 to the Pioneer Corps. He was honorably discharged at War's end in Atlanta, Georgia on 5 May, 1865.

He was found in a 1920 census living in Manatee County, retired from a life of farming. He collected a Confederate pension #A05801 in Manatee County, Florida.
