Enlisted 6/6/1861 at Tampa and died of brain fever 4/10/1862 in Camp Langford.

No further information is available however, there is a Joseph Eady, age 21 appearing on the 2nd Seminole War Muster Roll of Captain James Keogh's Company D, of the Second Regiment, Second Brigade of Florida Militia, commanded by Col. J. S. Sanchez, ordered into service of the United States by Brig. General J. M. Hernandez from the  10th day of December 1835 to the 20th day of February 1836.
