CORPORAL SIMEON B. MOODY - KIA

 

Age at enlistment: 19

Born: 1842

Died: 2 January 1863  - Tennessee

 

Enlisted as a 4th Corporal 6/19/18 61 at Tampa.  Was not re-elected to the position on 10 June 1862.   Killed in battle at Murfreesboro, Tennessee on 2 January, 1863.

Found on a 1850's census living in Buddy's Lake Settlement in Benton, Florida.

Did not survive to receive Confederate Veteran Pension
